Austco Introduces its New Resident Check In Callpoint

Perth, AU - December 2, 2009

Austco’s new Resident Check-In is a simple and effective way to make sure that all the residents are safe and sound on a daily basis.

This button provides management with a fully automatic check-in procedure for each resident. At a pre-programmed time each day, an indicator light flashes and an audible tone sounds on the check in call point.

This prompts the residents to “check in” by pressing the large button with the indicator light flashing call point in their room, within the pre-programmed time interval. Room numbers of residents who fail to check in will be displayed at the console station, so the carers may go to the room to visually check on the resident or contact them on the telephone. This simple system ensures the safety of residents while maintaining their dignity and independence.

The system can be turned off locally when the resident is away visiting family.
